The celebration of Love!
I dedicate this post to my amazing Husband who loves me more than anything in the world! I love him back even more!
The least I could do for Him to celebrate our precious love is a romantic Sunday breakfast! He has to know he is special! And I advise all of you married women out there: Never miss a chance to declare your love to your husbands! God put them in our life to make us happy so I believe we have to make them feel special every day!
Trust me you do not need a specific day to make it a special one! Just pick one and work your magic! I can help you with a simple but great recipe – Nutella Crepes!
You will need:
2 cups whole milk
2 cups flour
a pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla bean paste/extract
Mix the eggs well and add to them the measured milk, vanilla, salt and flour. Mix until well combined.
Use a crepe pan on medium heat and cook the crepes. I did the whole mixture and ended up with around 20 crepes. ( *Tip of the day: perfect amount for Nutella Crepe Cake!!! Let me know if you want me to share how you can make it.)
After you cook the crepes. Spread Nutella on each and either roll them or just fold into a pretty shape. Serve with fruits, whipped cream or whatever your heart desire!
Do not forget that you can add a pinch of flair with a glass of Homemade Strawberry Lemonade!
Enjoy with your loved ones!
♥ Happy Valentine’s Day! ♥
For those of you who know me well it will not be a surprise that I can eat anything anytime as soon as it is delicious enough! So who said “A Breakfast for Dinner “?
Here is the recipe for a luscious, melt in the mouth, delicious and so easy to cook omelette that I want to share with you! Just because I do believe that everything good deserves to be shared especially if it is food!
Ingredients for 1 omelette:
3 large eggs
50 grams brie
50 grams smoked salmon
3 Tbsp cream cheese
1 Tbsp melted butter
Salt and pepper to taste
A pinch of Sicilian honey garlic (my secret ingredient)
Mix the eggs well in a bowl and add to them the cubed brie cheese, salt, pepper and a pinch of Sicilian honey garlic. Pour the mixture in a large hot pan over medium heat and cook the omelette. Once it is done lay over it shavings of smoked salmon and pieces of cream cheese.
If you prefer the salmon inside the omelette you can add it to the egg mixture before cooking it. I like to put in on top.
A good variation of this recipe is to cook the omelette only with brie cheese if you want to serve this dish to a vegetarian. Just make it without the fish.
Serve with a side of your choice or eat it all by itself!
